Ma Cho Chang Plantations Sdn Bhd (“MCC Plantations”) is a newly established company, formed under the Malaysia Companies Act 2016 (ACT777) on 12th December 2024. The company is founded by 2 brothers, inspired by the unwavering hard work and dedication of their late father, Ma Cho Chang.
MCC Plantations focused on sustainable palm oil cultivation, operates by secure a 99-year lease land from the state government, aim to contribute positively to the industry while promoting environmental responsibility and economic growth in the regional, and optimizing land use for maximum productivity in the palm oil industry.

Ma Heng Eng
Ma Heng Eng, the eldest son of the late Ma Cho Chang, has dedicated over 25 years to the palm oil plantation industry, following in the footsteps of his father and continuing his legacy with passion and determination. From a young age, Ma Heng Eng was deeply inspired by his father’s vision and ambition to build a prosperous and sustainable palm oil company. Upon the passing of Ma Cho Chang, Ma Heng Eng took on the responsibility of not only managing the family’s palm oil plantation but also ensuring the company’s future success and growth.
Born into a farming family, Ma Heng Eng learned the intricacies of palm oil cultivation firsthand under the guidance of his father, who was a pioneer in the industry. Ma Cho Chang instilled in him the values of hard work, integrity, and innovation. As the eldest son, Ma Heng Eng understood the importance of carrying forward his father’s dream, and he worked tirelessly to refine his skills and knowledge of plantation management.
After gaining experience in all aspects of the plantation, from planting and harvesting to processing, Ma Heng Eng assumed leadership of the family business. His leadership has been marked by a keen focus on sustainability, efficiency, welfare and better working conditions for the farm’s labor force. He has embraced modern agricultural practices, ensuring that the plantation operates with an eye toward environmental stewardship, while also working to increase production yields and improve the quality of palm oil products.
Through dedication, hard work, and a deep sense of responsibility, Ma Heng Eng has solidified his place in the palm oil industry while honoring the memory of his father, Ma Cho Chang, and continuing to build a future for the family’s plantation that is both prosperous and sustainable.

Ma Hang Sin is the second son of the late Ma Cho Chang, a visionary and influential figure in the technology sectors. With a career spanning over 25 years in the technology industry, Ma Hang Sin has been at the forefront of technological advancements, overseeing major projects that have significantly contributed to the growth and success of technology company. His role in driving strategy, managing complex operations, and fostering innovation has earned him the respect of colleagues and industry leaders alike.
In addition to his success in technology, Ma Hang Sin has worked alongside his elder brother, Ma Heng Eng, to carry on the legacy of their late father. In pursuit of their father’s ambition to revive and expand the family’s palm oil plantation business, the two brothers co-invested in forming a plantation company. This joint venture aims to continue their father’s vision of making palm oil production a vital and sustainable industry in Malaysia once again.
